Hire ME!
Turns out, keeping OurTapestry going requires both ministry and money...Rude!
One way I’m helping make the numbers work is by partnering with churches as a part-time remote communications and social media director. Your church gets experienced communications help, and OurTapestry gets to put less of its budget toward keeping its pastor housed, fed, and connected to Wi-Fi.

Everybody wins.

Why Work With Me?

I bring the perspective of someone who understands both sides of this work.

I understand ministry as an ordained pastor, so you don't have to spend half our meetings explaining church language, worship seasons, Session, or why Easter is absolutely not the Sunday to discover the livestream isn't working.

I understand digital communication. I've built an online ministry and social media presence that reaches hundreds of thousands of people by treating social media as a place for genuine connection—not simply a digital bulletin board.

I understand most churches aren't sitting on enormous budgets or teams of specialists. We build around the resources, people, and capacity you actually have.

I understand the goal isn't a million followers; it's transformed lives, equipping disciples, and bringing about the kin-dom of God.

Every church needs something a little different, so we'll build the role around yours.

That could include:
  • Social media strategy, planning, and content creation
  • Managing your social media calendar
  • Writing and scheduling posts
  • Turning sermons, events, programs, and everyday ministry into engaging digital content
  • Website updates and content
  • Email newsletters and digital communications
  • Event and program promotion
  • Bulletin and slides for worship
  • Helping develop your organization's voice and messaging
  • Reviewing analytics and adjusting what's actually working
  • Training and supporting staff or volunteers who contribute content
  • Making sure your communications tell one coherent story across platforms
And perhaps most importantly: being the person on your team who is always thinking about communications.

Let’s Talk. You don't need to know exactly how many hours you need or arrive with a perfectly written job description.

Start with a conversation.

Tell me about your church, what's working, what's making you crazy, and what you wish someone would take off your plate.

Then we'll figure out what having a part-time communications director could look like for you.
